Put your own brand on Raion Hub
Branding replaces the Raion Hub look with yours: your colour, your name, your logos, your own web address, and the panel your team sees when they sign in. Everything here is a draft until we review it.
Before you start
- Branding is switched on for your workspace by the Raion team, not bought from a plan. If Branding is not in your Settings, that is why.
- Only the subscription payer sees it. For everyone else the Branding tab is not there at all.
- Nothing you change here goes live until we approve it, so set aside a sitting to get it right, then submit once.
Steps
Open Branding
In the sidebar, click Settings, then the Branding tab.
The bar at the top is the part to understand first. It carries your Status and the three buttons that matter: Discard, Save draft and Submit for approval.
The publish bar is the first thing on the section, and the last thing you use
Under it, Brand palette explains the deal:
Pick a primary brand color to white-label this workspace. Semantic colors (info, success, warning, danger) are locked — they carry meaning, not brand identity. Changes are reviewed by Raion before they go live for everyone in your workspaces.
Set your brand colour
The Primary card is your one colour — Brand color. Drives identity across the entire app.
Click the big swatch to open Pick a color. You get a Hex code field, a row of Presets, and Use system color picker if you want your operating system’s own. There is also a Hex code field on the card itself; it commits when you press Enter or click away.
One colour, from a preset or your own hex
The presets are Navy #002E62, Purple #7C3AED, Pink #EC4899,
Green #10B981, Orange #F97316, Red #DC2626, Teal
#0D9488 and Black #0F172A. Anything else shows Custom color in use;
a colour you have not touched shows Default in use.
Where it shows up on the card lists exactly what your colour reaches: the active sidebar row and its accent bar, the fallback avatars, and the brand-tinted buttons and login splash. Preview beneath it shows those in your colour before you commit.
The other colours — info, success, warning and danger — are locked for everyone. They mean something, and a brand that recolours “danger” is a brand that teaches its team to ignore warnings.
Name your workspace and claim a web address
The Brand identity card holds two things: Display name and URL slug for this workspace.
- Brand name is what the app calls your workspace. The hint shows the shape: Display name shown in the app (e.g., “Bayview Realty Hub”).
- Subdomain is your own address. The field shows https:// before the box and .raiontech.io after it, so you only type the middle.
You type only the middle part of the address
A subdomain must be 3 to 30 characters, lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, starting and ending with a letter or number. Anything else is refused with Use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens. 3-30 chars. What you type is lowercased for you as you go, and a green tick appears when the shape is right.
Whether the name is actually free is checked when you save, and then, like everything else here, reviewed before it goes live.
Releasing a subdomain takes that address offline immediately and puts the default branding back. Anyone using the old address will not reach your workspace, so tell your team before you do it.
Connect a domain you own
If Custom domain is part of your branding setup, that card serves the whole app from an address like crm.yourcompany.com.
Type the domain and click Connect. Raion Hub then shows two DNS records to add at your domain provider — one labelled TXT — ownership and one CNAME — routing, each with a Name and a Value to copy. Add both, then come back and click Verify ownership.
Domain actions take effect immediately. Connecting, verifying and releasing a domain are not part of the draft and are not waiting on approval — they act the moment you click.
Choose the theme new visitors see
Default theme sets the starting point, not a rule:
The color scheme new visitors see first. Anyone can switch with the toggle and their choice is remembered — this is just the starting point. “System” follows the visitor’s device setting.
Scheme offers System, Light and Dark.
Set the sign-in panel
Login splash is The marketing panel on the right half of the sign-in page. Pick a Mode: Photo, Gradient or Screenshot. Photo adds a Splash photo upload tile.
A splash photo must be PNG, JPG or WebP, at most 500KB.
Upload your logos
The Logos card replaces the Raion Hub marks with yours. Four tiles, because the sidebar shows a square mark when it is collapsed and a long one when it is open, and each needs a version that reads on a light background and one that reads on dark:
| Tile | Where it appears | Size to aim for |
|---|---|---|
| Square logo · light mode | The collapsed sidebar, in light mode | 256 × 256 |
| Square logo · dark mode | The collapsed sidebar, in dark mode | 256 × 256 |
| Long logo · light mode | The expanded sidebar, in light mode | About 600 × 160 — roughly 4:1 |
| Long logo · dark mode | The expanded sidebar, in dark mode | About 600 × 160 — roughly 4:1 |
Four tiles: square and long, light and dark
Click a tile or its button to upload. The button reads Upload, and once something is there, Replace, with Remove beside it.
Each logo must be PNG, JPG or WebP and at most 256KB. SVG is not accepted. Transparent margins on a long logo are trimmed for you, so the mark sits flush — but trimming them yourself before uploading gives the best result.
Save your draft, then submit it
Click Save draft to keep your work — it confirms with Draft saved. Nothing anybody else sees has changed yet.
When the whole thing is right, click Submit for approval. The bar confirms:
Submitted for approval. A Raion admin will review it shortly.
Your Status becomes Awaiting approval. Once we approve it the chip reads
Approved - live, and everyone in your workspaces sees your brand.
What the Status chip means
| Chip | What it means |
|---|---|
| Draft - not submitted | Your edits are saved to your own draft. Nobody else sees them |
| Awaiting approval | Submitted. We are looking at it |
| Approved - live | Live for everyone in your workspaces |
| Changes requested | We could not approve it as it stands. A Reviewer note: line says why |
The footer of the bar repeats the rule, and it is worth taking literally:
Changes are reviewed by Raion before they go live for your workspaces. Edits here preview in your session; they apply for everyone once approved.
So the colour you see while editing is a preview for you alone.
Discard and Reset are not the same thing
Two buttons that both sound like “undo”, and they do different things:
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Discard in the publish bar | Throws away your unsaved edits and goes back to your last saved draft |
| Reset to default on a card | Puts that one setting back to the Raion Hub default |
Discard confirms with Reverted to your last saved draft. and only appears when something differs from the saved draft.
If something goes wrong
| What you see | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| You changed the colour and nobody else can see it | Branding is a draft until we approve it | Save draft, then Submit for approval, and wait for Approved - live |
| Changes requested | We could not approve it as submitted | Read the Reviewer note: line, fix what it names, and submit again |
| Branding is not in your Settings at all | It has not been switched on for your workspace, or you are not the payer | Talk to us and we will enable it |
| You don’t have access after following a branding link | Branding is not switched on for your workspace, or you are not the subscription payer | Talk to us and we will enable it |
| Use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens. 3-30 chars. | The subdomain has a capital, a space or a stray character, or is the wrong length | Retype it — lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens only |
| The Subdomain field has vanished | A custom domain is connected, and a workspace uses one address or the other | Release the custom domain if you want the subdomain back |
| No Custom domain card | Custom domains are not part of your branding setup | Talk to us |
| Record not found on your domain | The ownership record is not visible to us yet — DNS takes time | Confirm the record at your provider, wait, then Verify ownership again |
| Enter a full domain like crm.bayviewrealty.com. | What you typed is not a complete domain | Include the full address, dots and all |
| Use PNG, JPG, or WebP. | You tried to upload something else — an SVG, most often | Export your logo as PNG or WebP |
| Too large on a logo | Logos are capped at 256KB | Export smaller — 256 × 256 for square, about 600 × 160 for long |
| Too large on the splash photo | The splash is capped at 500KB | Save a more compressed copy |
| Couldn’t save the draft. or Couldn’t submit for approval. | The server refused | Try again; if it repeats, message support |
