Install Raion Hub on your computer
There is no Raion Hub download for Windows or Mac — your browser installs it instead. Once installed, Raion Hub opens in a window of its own, with no address bar and no tabs, and it has its own icon in your Start menu, taskbar, Dock or Applications folder. Takes about a minute.
Before you start. Use Chrome or Edge on Windows or Mac, or Safari on a Mac. Firefox cannot install web apps — use one of the others. Nothing needs unlocking: installing is not part of any plan tier and needs no special role.
Which browser to use
| Browser | How it installs |
|---|---|
| Chrome, Edge, other Chromium browsers | Raion Hub’s own Install Raion Hub button — the steps below |
| Safari on a Mac (macOS Sonoma 14 or newer) | Safari’s File → Add to Dock — see On a Mac with Safari |
| Firefox | Cannot install. Use Chrome, Edge or Safari, or keep using the browser tab |
Steps — Chrome or Edge
Open the sign-in screen
Go to hub.raiontech.io. You do not need to sign in for this.
Click Install Raion Hub
It is at the top right of the page, immediately left of the light/dark toggle.
Top right of the sign-in screen, immediately left of the light/dark toggle
Confirm your browser’s install dialog
A small dialog opens straight away, asking whether to install Raion Hub. It belongs to your browser, so the wording is Chrome’s or Edge’s, not ours. Click Install.
If you close that dialog without installing, reload the page before you try again. The browser offers one install request per page load; after you dismiss it, the next click on the button makes the button disappear without opening anything.
Use Raion Hub in its own window
Raion Hub opens in a window of its own and signs you in as usual. From now on, open it like any other app:
- Windows: from the Start menu, or pin it to the taskbar by right-clicking its icon there.
- Mac: from Launchpad or the Applications folder (Chrome puts it in Chrome Apps). To keep it in the Dock, right-click its Dock icon while it is open and choose Options → Keep in Dock.
No address bar, no tabs — the window is Raion Hub and nothing else
The Install Raion Hub button disappears from the sign-in page once it is installed. That is expected.
Install without signing out
You do not have to visit the sign-in screen. Once you are signed in, use either of these instead:
- Raion Hub’s Help menu. Click the ? at the right-hand end of the top bar and choose Install Raion Hub, the last row of the menu. If the row reads Installed with a green tick, this browser already has it.
Install Raion Hub sits below Contact support, under its own divider
- Your browser’s own install icon. In Chrome and Edge, a small install icon appears at the right-hand end of the address bar on any page of Raion Hub. Click it, then Install. The browser’s menu has the same option: in Chrome, ⋮ → Cast, save, and share → Install Raion Hub; in Edge, … → Apps → Install Raion Hub.
On a Mac with Safari
Safari has no install request to give Raion Hub, so the Install Raion Hub button does not appear there. Safari can still put it in your Dock, on macOS Sonoma 14 or newer.
Open Raion Hub in Safari
Go to hub.raiontech.io. You can be signed in or not.
Choose File → Add to Dock
In the menu bar at the top of the screen, click File, then Add to Dock. You can also click the Share button in Safari’s toolbar and choose Add to Dock.
Confirm the name and click Add
Safari suggests the name Raion Hub and the navy Raion “R” icon. Click Add.
Open it from the Dock and sign in
Raion Hub opens in its own window. Sign in again — it is separate from Safari and does not share Safari’s sign-in.
Remove it again
Uninstalling removes only the separate window. Your workspace, contacts and messages are untouched, and you can still use Raion Hub in a browser tab.
- Chrome: open the Raion Hub window, click the ⋮ at the top right of the window, and choose Uninstall Raion Hub.
- Edge: go to edge://apps in Edge, click the … beside Raion Hub, and choose Uninstall.
- Safari on a Mac: drag Raion Hub out of the Dock, then delete it from the Applications folder in your home folder.
If something goes wrong
| What happens | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| No Install Raion Hub button anywhere | You are in Safari or Firefox, which never offer Raion Hub an install request | In Safari, use File → Add to Dock. Otherwise use Chrome or Edge |
| The button is gone and the Help row says Installed | It is already installed in this browser | Open it from your Start menu, Dock or Applications folder |
| You dismissed the dialog, clicked again, and the button vanished with no dialog | The browser offers one install request per page load, and the dismissal used it up | Reload the page — the button comes back — then click it once |
| Add to Dock is not in Safari’s File menu | Your Mac is older than macOS Sonoma 14 | Update macOS, or use Chrome or Edge |
| You are asked to sign in again in the installed window | The installed window does not always share your browser’s sign-in | Sign in with the same email and password |
| Desktop push alerts never arrive | Push alerts are a separate switch, and a browser you have blocked cannot be asked again | See Turn on push alerts |
