Your databases
Your workspace has one shared pool of contacts. A database is a saved, named view over that pool: a name, an icon, a rule for who belongs in it, and its own set of columns. The same person can sit in several databases at once without ever being copied — fix their phone number in one and it is fixed everywhere.
Every workspace starts with one database called Leads. Anything else your team builds is listed underneath it.
Where your databases live
In the sidebar, under the group header Database, you will find Leads first — or whatever your workspace renamed it to — and then one row for every database someone has built. Click a row to open it.
Sidebar → Database → pick a database
Hover a row and a gear button appears — its label is the database’s own name, for example Configure Customers fields. That opens the settings for that one database. Hover the Database group header itself and a + appears at its right edge (Add database); see Add a database.
A database somebody built without choosing an icon shows a bookmark.
On a phone
The second button along the bottom bar is your database switcher. Its label is the current database’s name followed by Press and hold to switch database.
- Tap it and you go to the last database you were in. Raion Hub remembers that for you, whichever way you arrived.
- Press and hold for about half a second and a short list of every database appears. You can keep your finger down and slide onto the one you want — it lights up as you cross it and opens when you lift — or let go and tap a row normally. A tap outside closes the list.
Hold, slide onto the database you want, lift to open it
What is shared, and what belongs to one database
| Shared by every database | Belongs to one database |
|---|---|
| The contacts themselves — one pool, no duplicates | Its name and its icon |
| Every field, defined once for the whole workspace | Its rule — Show records where |
| The row action buttons | Which columns show, and which are pinned |
| Its own archive |
So a field somebody adds is available to every database straight away. Whether it appears as a column is decided database by database.
Archived is a lens, not a database
Every database has its own archive. The All and Archived chips in the toolbar are two ways of looking at the database you are already on — picking Archived does not move you somewhere else. More on those chips.
Why you may only see your own contacts
The Owner chip starts on Me for everyone, workspace owners included. So the first thing you see when you sign in is your records, and a list that looks short is usually not a permissions problem. Open the Owner chip and pick Anyone. Full detail in Find the contacts you need.
Renaming, and links you have already shared
Renaming a database changes its web address, and the old address keeps working — follow it and Raion Hub quietly moves you to the new one, so a link you pasted into a group chat last month still opens the right screen. A database that has been removed is different: its address stops resolving for good.
If something looks wrong
| What you see | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| A spinner and nothing else after following a link | Your list of databases has not arrived yet | Wait — the screen fills itself in rather than flashing a false error |
| A not-found screen | The address is wrong, the database was removed, or it was never visible to you | Open the database from the sidebar instead of from the link |
| No leads yet, and no Add Lead button | Your role cannot create records | Ask a workspace owner for the Lead Table permission with create. Records assigned to you still appear |
| A database you built is empty, and you expected Leads’ columns | A new database starts blank on purpose | Add the columns you want — see Add a database |
| No Landlords yet on a database named Landlord | A database’s empty state uses the database’s own word | Nothing to fix |
