Capture leads from TikTok Lead Ads
Connect TikTok, choose which advertiser accounts to bring in, map one form’s fields, and activate it. Every answer to that form then lands in your contacts with a lead source attached. Allow about 15 minutes for the first form.
TikTok works almost exactly like Meta, with one difference that changes how you switch capture on: the thing that subscribes to TikTok is the advertiser, not the form.
Before you start
- Your role includes read access to the Integrations permission. If there is no TikTok card under Integrations, that is what you are short of — see if a card is missing
- A TikTok login with access to the advertiser account that owns the forms
- Your Lead Ads forms already created on TikTok
- A Business Account Instant Form needs its Page ID as well — those never appear on their own. See Business Account forms
Steps
Open the TikTok page
In the sidebar, under Automation, click Integrations, then click the TikTok card.
With nothing connected yet the body reads Connect your TikTok account — Authorize TikTok to start ingesting leads from your Lead Ads and Business Account forms in real time.
Authorize TikTok
Click Connect TikTok account. Once you have an account connected, the way to add another is Add Account in the top bar, or the + button on a phone.
There is no login-type question here — TikTok goes straight to its own consent screen. Raion Hub shows a banner reading Opening TikTok… and then Connecting TikTok… while it waits.
You have 30 minutes to finish at TikTok. If your workspace runs on its own branded web address, the connection has to open on your Raion address instead, so it opens in a new tab and tells you: Connecting TikTok opens on your Raion host. Continuing there… That is expected.
Pick the advertisers to bring in
Back in Raion Hub, Select advertisers to connect opens — Choose which advertiser accounts to bring into this workspace. Only selected advertisers are connected — you activate lead capture per advertiser after mapping its forms.
Above the list, a line counts what TikTok offered (2 ADVERTISERS AVAILABLE) with Select all, which flips to Clear all once everything is ticked. Tick what you want and press Connect (2) — the button counts your ticks and does nothing until you tick at least one.
The banner reads Connecting advertisers…, then Syncing forms… 40% while the forms are pulled in, and a message confirms: Advertisers connected. Map fields, then activate to go live.
Nothing captures yet.
Open the first form
Under the heading Lead forms, each advertiser is a group you can fold away, with its name in capitals, a count reading 1 of 3 capturing, and a ⋮ menu at its right.
Groups are advertisers; the rows inside them are that advertiser's lead forms
If nothing is mapped yet, a card above the list reads We found 4 lead forms across 2 advertisers, with a Review the first form button. Use it — otherwise click any form row, which is a link in its entirety.
Set the lead source and check the mapping
The panel that opens is the same one Meta uses, and the Meta guide walks through it in full. In short:
- Lead source is required — pick one, or choose + Create new lead source and type a name into the field that replaces the dropdown.
- Field mapping lists each field TikTok sends, with the field it fills in your workspace beside it. Matches Raion Hub guessed for you are marked with a ✦, and they are only proposals until you save. Anything left unmapped is dropped, not queued.
- There is no Test section on TikTok. Only Meta can post a sample lead.
The panel’s heading shows the form’s name, and under it the advertiser’s name and how many fields TikTok sent.
Save, and switch the form on
Press Save changes. Because the form is still switched off, Raion Hub asks first — Start capturing now? — offering Not yet or Start capturing.
Start capturing saves the mapping and switches the form on: Field mapping saved — this form is capturing now. Not yet saves the mapping only, and the message is the plainer Field mapping saved.
You can also flip the Capture switch in the panel at any time — it confirms with Form enabled or Form disabled. Switching it on before a lead source has been saved does not work; the panel scrolls back to the lead source and shows the reason in red.
Check that leads arrive
The form row now shows a green dot and the word Active, and its advertiser’s count goes up to match.
There is no test lead on TikTok, so the only way to prove the chain end to end is a real one: submit the form yourself from the ad preview, or let the campaign run and watch your leads list. The lead should arrive with the lead source you chose.
Activating a whole advertiser
The ⋮ menu on an advertiser group is where capture is switched on and off in bulk. Which rows you see depends on the state it is in.
Activation is per advertiser — there is no switch on the advertiser row itself
| Row | When you see it | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Activate advertiser | No form is on, and at least one form has a lead source | Subscribes the advertiser at TikTok and switches on only its mapped forms. It confirms with activated — now capturing leads |
| Deactivate advertiser | At least one form is on | Unsubscribes the advertiser and switches every one of its forms off, including ones you did not touch |
| Remove advertiser | Always | See removing an advertiser |
Two consequences worth holding on to:
- An advertiser cannot be activated until one of its forms has a lead source. Until then the Activate advertiser row is simply not in the menu. Map a form first.
- Deactivating is a blunt instrument. It switches off every form under that advertiser. If you only want to stop one form, open it and use its Capture switch instead.
Business Account forms do not appear by themselves
Business Account Instant Forms are not part of the advertiser sync, so no amount of refreshing will make one show up. This is the single most common “my form is missing” case on TikTok.
Under the advertiser list there is a card for adding one by hand:
Add a Business Account form
Business Account Instant Forms don’t appear here automatically. Paste the form’s Page ID from TikTok Leads Center to subscribe to its leads. The form must already be linked to one of your advertiser accounts in Leads Center.
Paste the Page ID from TikTok Leads Center, then Add Form
Copy the form’s Page ID from TikTok Leads Center into the Page ID field — it is a long number — and press Add Form. The button stays unavailable until you type something, and ↵ submits too.
Adding one can bring a whole new advertiser into the list, so the list reloads afterwards. Then map the form and switch it on exactly as above.
If it is refused, the message is: Could not add the form. Check the Page ID and that the form is linked to your advertiser account in TikTok Leads Center. Both halves matter — the right number for a form that is not linked to one of your advertiser accounts will not work.
If an advertiser is missing from the list
The account chip beside the page heading is more than a label. If two different TikTok logins are connected, the list below shows only the advertisers of the login you have selected. So before concluding that an advertiser did not come through, switch the chip and look again.
The chip’s ⋮ button (Connection actions) holds:
| Row | What it does |
|---|---|
| Sync now | Re-reads advertisers, forms and fields. It confirms with Advertisers synced and changes nothing about what is switched on |
| Reconnect | Sends you back to TikTok’s consent screen. Available even when everything looks healthy, since a permission change on TikTok’s side cannot be spotted in advance |
There is also a refresh button beside the Lead forms heading, which confirms with Advertisers refreshed. And, as on Meta, there is no “last synced” time on this page — TikTok does not supply one.
Removing an advertiser, or disconnecting TikTok
To stop one advertiser, use its ⋮ menu → Remove advertiser. The confirmation is Remove this advertiser? — This unsubscribes the advertiser at TikTok and deletes its forms and field mappings. Lead capture from this advertiser stops immediately.
To disconnect TikTok altogether, open the account chip and choose Disconnect this account. The confirmation is Disconnect TikTok? — This unsubscribes every connected advertiser at TikTok and removes all advertisers, forms, and field mappings for this workspace. You will need to reconnect and reconfigure to capture leads again.
With two TikTok logins connected there is no way to remove just one. The Disconnect this account row only appears when exactly one login is connected, because the only teardown available would quietly revoke the other login as well. To tidy up, remove the advertisers you do not want instead.
Leads that already arrived stay in your workspace either way.
If the connection does not open
With Raion Hub installed as an app — an iPhone Home Screen app, or a desktop install — TikTok’s consent screen cannot run inside the app, so a dialog appears instead: Continue in your browser, or Continue at TikTok if the handover was tried and your phone passed it to the TikTok app.
Nothing has gone wrong. Press Continue to open it in your browser, and you come back automatically. If nothing opens, the dialog’s Connection link box holds the address — paste it into any browser, finish there, and Raion Hub picks the finished connection up on its own. Keep the Raion Hub tab open while you do.
If something goes wrong
| What you see | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| No TikTok advertiser accounts found for this login. | That TikTok login manages no advertiser accounts | Connect with the login that has access to the advertiser account |
| No advertisers — No advertiser accounts are connected yet. | You are signed in but no advertiser was selected | Use Add Account and tick the advertisers |
| This advertiser has no lead forms yet — sync to fetch them, or add a Business Account form below. | No Lead Ads form synced for it | Use Sync now, or add the form by Page ID |
| A form you know exists never appears | It is a Business Account Instant Form | Add it by its Page ID — those never sync automatically |
| An advertiser you expected is not listed | Another TikTok login owns it | Switch the account chip and look again |
| Activate advertiser is not in the menu | No form under it has a lead source yet | Open a form, save a lead source, then activate |
| TikTok connection cancelled. | The consent screen was dismissed | Start again with Add Account |
| That connection session expired. Please try connecting again. | More than 30 minutes passed at TikTok | Start again, keeping the Raion Hub tab open |
| TikTok connection could not be completed. Please try again. | The connection failed for some other reason | Try again. If it repeats, message support |
| Connect a TikTok advertiser first. | Sync now was used with nothing connected | Connect an advertiser first |
| Sync failed — retry with Sync. or Failed to sync TikTok advertisers | The sync did not finish | Use Sync now from the account chip |
| TikTok authorization URL is not configured. | A configuration problem on our side, not something you did | Message support and quote that line |
| Failed to load the TikTok integration. or Failed to load TikTok advertisers. | The page could not load its data | Reload. If it repeats, message support |
| Forms went quiet after you switched one off | Deactivating an advertiser switches off all of its forms | Reopen the advertiser’s menu and use Activate advertiser, then check each form |
