Your Dashboard
The Dashboard is the first item in your sidebar, and the grid of tiles on it is counting your whole workspace’s records. This page covers reading that grid, rearranging it, and saving your arrangement so the rest of the workspace sees it too. About 10 minutes.
Before you start
- Everyone in the workspace can open the Dashboard. If you cannot, someone has specifically revoked your Dashboard access — ask a workspace owner. There is no Dashboard setting in Roles to tick.
- Only the workspace owner can save the board for everyone. Anyone can rearrange it on their own screen, but only the owner can publish that arrangement to everyone.
- Tile sizes can only be changed on a wide enough window. The Resize control needs about 800 pixels of board width, so on a phone or a narrow browser window it is not offered.
Where it is
- On a computer: the sidebar’s very first item, Dashboard.
- On a phone: the first slot in the bottom tab bar, Dashboard. It is also a full-width tile in the Menu sheet.
- An old bookmark to the /analytics address still works. It forwards to the Dashboard and keeps anything you had in the link.
The board fills the page. Tiles are not a fixed report — this grid is yours to change.
Three things that explain the rest
One board, shared by the whole workspace. There is a single saved board per workspace, not one per person. If you and a colleague are both editing it, you are editing the same thing.
Your changes are yours until you save them. Moving a tile, resizing it, adding or removing one, renaming it, changing the period or the filters — all of that changes only your screen. It becomes the workspace’s board when someone presses Save as default.
Tiles refresh themselves every 60 seconds while the tab is in front. A tab left in the background stops refreshing until you come back to it. There is no Refresh button, because there is nothing to press.
What your starting board contains
The tiles you land on depend on the industry chosen when the workspace was set up, so a neighbour’s Dashboard will not match yours.
- Most industries start with seven tiles: a New leads stat, a Conversion funnel, Leads by source, Closed value, Needs follow-up, a Member leaderboard and Lead assignment.
- Some real-estate setups add Closed this month on top of those seven.
- An F&B outlet or a retail shop gets a different set entirely — Active members, Dormant — win-back list, New members and Visits trend — with no funnel, no leaderboard and no assignment table.
Tiles your workspace cannot run are dropped quietly, and nothing on the page says why. With no dropdown-style field on your database there is no Conversion funnel and no Member leaderboard; with no connected WhatsApp number there are no campaign tiles. Set the missing piece up and you can add the tile yourself.
Seeded tiles also arrive carrying their own date windows, which is why a fresh board can show the funnel over the last 90 days while the stat beside it counts this month. See Set the date range.
The row of controls above the board
On a computer this row sits in the top bar. On a phone it is the second row of the band at the top of the screen, and it folds away as you scroll.
Left to right: who the numbers are about, which lead sources count, and the date range.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| The member chip — Anyone, Me, a name, N selected or No one | Narrows the funnel, the leaderboard and the assignment table to particular people |
| All sources, or 1 source / N sources | Counts only records that came from the lead sources you tick |
| The period picker | Sets the date range for the whole board — see Set the date range |
| Day · Week · Month | Chart granularity. It only appears when a tile on the board needs it |
| Reset | Throws away your unsaved changes and goes back to the saved board |
| Save as default | Publishes your arrangement as the workspace’s board |
Reset and Save as default only exist while you have unsaved changes. If you cannot see them, there is nothing to save. On a narrow screen they shrink to icons with no text.
Two things about these controls surprise people:
- Only three tiles listen to the member chip — the funnel, the leaderboard and the assignment table. Stat tiles and tiles you build yourself cannot be narrowed to one person.
- In the member chip,
Clearmeans “back to just me” — not “everyone”. To get the whole workspace back, open the chip and press Select all; the chip then reads Anyone.
Open the member chip and you get a panel headed Filter by owner, with Select all, Clear, and a Search owner box. Your own row is marked (You) and sits first. The member chip is a personal lens: it is never saved with the board, and it resets every time the page loads.
Reading a stat tile
Green is up, red is down. The percentage compares with the window immediately before this one.
- Big numbers are shortened —
1.23K,4.5M,1.2B. - The percentage compares with the window immediately before. On Today that is yesterday; on Last 30 days it is the 30 days before those. There is no percentage on All time, and none when the previous total was zero.
- Green means the number went up, red means it went down, grey means no change.
- A tile one column wide and one row tall has no trend line — there is no room for it. Make the tile wider or taller and the line appears.
Rearrange the board
Click a tile to select it
Hovering a tile does nothing on its own. Click the tile — it picks up a coloured ring, and the small toolbar appears over its top-left corner while your pointer is on it. On a touch screen the toolbar shows as soon as the tile is selected. Click the page background to let go.
Move it
Drag the grip — the first button in the toolbar, Drag to move — to a new place in the grid. If you would rather not drag, click the grip once and use the arrow keys: ← or ↑ moves the tile one place earlier, → or ↓ one place later.
Resize it
Click Resize in the toolbar. A small grid opens; hover a cell to preview the
size and click to apply it. The label under the grid counts rows first, then
columns, so 3×2 is three rows tall and two columns wide.
Charts go up to six rows. Stat tiles stop at two rows, because there is nothing for the extra height to show.
Click first, then hover: the toolbar only appears on a selected tile.
If a seeded chart looks like a title strip with a sliver of chart under it, this is the fix — give it three rows or more and save.
Remove one you never look at
Click Remove in the toolbar, at the right-hand end. The tile leaves your copy of the board straight away. It is only gone for everyone once the board is saved, so a removal you regret is undone by Reset.
Save it for the workspace
Press Save as default. A toast reads Saved as the workspace default, and Reset and Save as default disappear because there is nothing left unsaved.
These two buttons only appear once you have changed something.
If you are not the workspace owner, Save as default still appears — pressing it returns You don’t have permission to change the shared board. Your arrangement stays on your screen; ask the workspace owner to make it the default. Note that this is workspace ownership, not an Admin role: a member holding an Admin role gets the same refusal.
When two people edit at once
The board re-checks the shared copy every time you come back to the tab.
- If someone else saved and you have nothing unsaved, your board quietly becomes theirs.
- If someone else saved and you do have unsaved changes, nothing moves. Reset relabels itself to Board updated. Pressing it throws your changes away and loads theirs; pressing Save as default instead publishes yours over theirs.
Reset always means “back to the last saved board”. It also clears the member chip and puts every tile back on its own date range.
If something goes wrong
| What you see | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| You don’t have access, with no button | Your Dashboard access has been revoked for your account specifically | Ask a workspace owner to restore it. There is no Roles setting for it — it has to be done per person |
| Loading board… for a long time | The saved board has not arrived yet. The page waits rather than flash the default board over yours | Give it a moment; if it never finishes, reload |
| No tiles yet — Add a custom metric to build your board. | Every tile has been removed | Press Add metric, or press Reset to get the saved board back |
| A seeded bar chart is a title strip with a sliver of chart | Some starting templates size their charts at one row, and a chart spends most of a row on its own header | Select the tile, press Resize, pick three rows or more, then Save as default |
| Tile unavailable with a reason under it | The tile needs something this workspace does not have — a status field, or a connected WhatsApp number | Set that up, or press Remove tile |
| This tile hit an error, one tile only | That tile failed; the rest of the board is fine | Press Try again. Changing the tile’s settings or the board period clears it too |
| Couldn’t load the metric catalog. Metric tiles are unavailable. across the top | Raion Hub could not read the list of things your workspace can measure. Tiles already on the board still draw | Press Retry. Until it works, you cannot add or edit a metric tile |
| Reset now reads Board updated | Someone else saved the shared board while you had unsaved changes | Press it to take theirs, or Save as default to publish yours |
| A member’s numbers look wrong on a stat tile | Stat tiles cannot be filtered by member at all — only the funnel, leaderboard and assignment tiles can | Read the per-person numbers off the Member leaderboard |
