Work through the setup checklist

The Getting started checklist lists the handful of things that turn a new workspace into a working one — connecting a channel, importing contacts, inviting your team. You work through it in any order, and tick each row off yourself as you go. Most people finish it in about 15 minutes.

This is not the same as first-run setup. The questions the workspace owner answers once, at the very beginning, are covered in Set up your workspace for the first time. The checklist on this page stays available afterwards.

Steps

Open the checklist

The checklist is a panel at the bottom-right of the screen, over whatever page you are on. It opens by itself when you enter the workspace, until you close it. If it is not showing:

  • click the small Setup pill in the bottom-right corner — it shows a progress ring and a count such as Setup 0/11;
  • or click the ? in the top bar and choose Setup wizard;
  • or, on a phone, open Menu and tap Finish setup.

? → Setup wizard always brings the checklist back, with your progress under it

Read your progress

The header reads Getting started, with a count under it — for example 0 of 11 done. Rows are grouped by what they set up — Setup, CRM, Assignment, Capture, Messaging and AI — and each group shows its own count on the right.

Each row has a circle on the left to tick it, and an arrow on the right to open the task

Open a task

Press the › at the right-hand end of a row. Raion Hub takes you straight to the screen that does the job — for example Connect a channel opens Integrations — and shrinks the checklist to the corner pill so it is out of your way.

Tick it off

When a task is done, click anywhere on its row. The circle turns green with a tick and the row is crossed out. Click the row again to undo it.

Rows do not tick themselves. Raion Hub does not check whether you have connected a channel or invited someone — the list is a reminder you keep yourself. Clicking a row ticks it; only the › opens the task.

Put the panel away

The two buttons in the header do different things:

  • − shrinks the panel to the Setup pill in the corner. Clicking anywhere outside the panel, or pressing Esc, does the same. Click the pill to bring the panel back.

− leaves this pill behind as a reminder. Click it to open the checklist again.

  • ✕ closes it, pill included, and it stops opening by itself. Bring it back from ? → Setup wizard whenever you like.

What is on the list

Which rows you see depends on the cards picked on What brings you here? during first-run setup. The first three are on everyone’s list. These are all of them:

GroupRowOpens
SetupConnect a channelIntegrations — see Connect your WhatsApp number
SetupInvite your teamSettings → Members, ready to invite — see Invite and manage members
SetupOrganize into teamsSettings, ready to create a team — see Workspaces and teams. Optional
CRMImport your contactsLeads — see Import contacts from a spreadsheet

CaptureTurn on lead captureLead capture — see Capture leads from WhatsApp keywords
MessagingCreate your first templateTemplates — see Create a WhatsApp message template
MessagingSend your first campaignCampaigns — see Send a WhatsApp campaign
AISet up your AI agentAI Chatbot — see AI Chatbot
AITest your AI agentAI Chatbot — see Test the chatbot before customers do

A row with a lock tag needs a particular plan — Set up lead assignment and both AI rows need Core, and Send your first campaign needs Lite. See Your plan and billing.

When every row is ticked, the header changes to Setup complete.

Your ticks are remembered on this browser only. On another computer, on your phone, or in a private window, the list starts unticked again — and if setup was answered somewhere else, it shows all 11 rows. That is harmless: the list is a guide, not a record. Tick the rows again there, or close it with ✕.
