Add a tile to your Dashboard
Put a new number, chart or table on your Dashboard — either one of the ready-made tiles, or a metric you build from your own fields. About 5 minutes, less if you pick a ready-made one.
Before you start
- Anyone can add a tile to their own screen. It only becomes part of the workspace’s board when the workspace owner presses Save as default.
- The funnel and leaderboard tiles need at least one dropdown-style field (usually Status) on your database. Without one they are not in the list at all.
- The campaign tiles need a connected WhatsApp number. Without one they are not in the list either — they are hidden, not shown empty.
Steps
Open Add metric
On a computer, press Add Metric in the top bar. It is only there while you are on the Dashboard.
Top bar, right-hand side — and only on the Dashboard.
On a phone the same button sits in the band at the top of the screen, labelled Add metric. If your board is empty, the Add metric button in the middle of the page does the same thing.
Choose what the tile is made of
The dialog is headed Add metric, with Build a metric from your workspace data under it. The column down the left has three groups, and they are three different amounts of work.
| Group | What it is | Configure anything? |
|---|---|---|
| Custom metric | An empty builder. You choose the measure, the breakdown and the shape | Yes, everything |
| Ready tiles | Finished tiles — the funnel, the leaderboard, the assignment table, campaign numbers | No |
| Templates, under Totals, Over time and Breakdowns | A starting point built from your own fields, which fills the builder in for you | Yes, after it fills in |
Left: where the tile comes from. Right: a preview that runs against your real records.
On a phone the list is the first screen and the builder is a second one — pick something and you drop into it, with a back arrow to return.
The list is built from what your workspace can actually measure, so it is not the same on every account. A footnote at the bottom of the column says so: Metrics run against your live workspace data via the catalog. Fields that aren’t available yet won’t appear here.
Add a ready-made tile, if one fits
Under Ready tiles you get whichever of these your workspace can run:
| Tile | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Leads over time | Records trend over time |
| Conversion funnel | Stage-by-stage conversion |
| Member leaderboard | Rank owners by won deals |
| Lead assignment | Routing + load balance |
| Total leads | Headline count stat |
| Campaign - Sent | Total messages sent |
| Campaign - Delivered % | Delivery rate |
| Campaign - Open rate % | Read rate (blue tick) |
| Campaign - Replied % | Reply rate |
| Campaign - Scheduled | Upcoming campaigns |
| Delivery funnel | Sent -> Delivered -> Opened -> Replied |
| Campaign performance | Rank campaigns, templates, channels |
| Sends over time | Status-stacked send volume |
Click one and you get its name, its description and a pill reading Ready-made tile. There is nothing to set up. Press Add to board and skip to the last step.
A ready-made tile has no settings — the Ready-made tile pill is the tell.
Or build the metric yourself
Pick Custom metric, or a template to start part-way. A template only fills the form in; nothing is added until you press Add to board, and you can change every part of it first.
Work down the left. The preview on the right redraws as you go.
| Part of the form | What to do with it |
|---|---|
| Name | Type a title, or leave it blank and accept the one Raion Hub suggests in grey |
| What do you want to see? | Number, Bars, Line or Compare — this decides the whole shape. See Pick the right chart |
| Measure | What is being counted or added up: Count, Sum of a field, Average of a field, and so on |
| Break down | For Bars: a Break down by field, then then split by a second one. Leave the second on No split for plain bars |
| Over time | For Line: Day, Week or Month buckets, then split by a field if you want one line per value |
| Chart | The drawing style. The options change with the type — see Pick the right chart |
| Filter | Optional conditions, covered in the next step |
| Time range | This tile’s own date window, covered in Set the date range |
Two things to watch for in Measure:
- A measure with · needs setup after it cannot be used yet. Pick it and you get This measure needs the value view enabled in this workspace before it can return data., and Add to board switches off.
- With Compare, Measure becomes Values and turns into two dropdowns — X, then vs Y. Both have to be set, and they have to be different fields.
Narrow it with a filter, if you need one
Press Add filter. You get a row with a field, an operator and a value; the button then reads Add condition for the next one. The X at the end of a row removes it. Conditions all have to be true together.
The operators you get depend on the field:
| Field | Operators | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| A dropdown field | is any of · is none of · is empty · is set | is any of and is none of show the field’s options as chips to tick |
| A number field | = · ≠ · > · ≥ · < · ≤ · is empty · is set | Number fields only appear once your workspace’s value view is set up |
| A date field | on or after · on or before · is empty · is set | See the two modes below |
A date condition has a small mode dropdown next to the value with two choices:
- date — a fixed day, picked from a calendar.
- days ago — a number, at least 1. “7 days ago” means seven days before today, recalculated every time the tile runs, so a “not touched in a week” tile stays true forever without anyone editing it.
If the Filter block is missing entirely, your workspace has no field that can be filtered on yet.
Check the preview before you commit
The panel on the right is headed Preview · Leads with a pill naming the shape it will produce — Stat card, Bar tile, Line tile, Scatter, or Grouped bars / Multi-line once a split is set. It runs the real metric against your real records with the board’s filters and period applied, so what you see there is what the tile will show.
If the preview says Pick two different numeric fields to plot. your Compare is not finished. If it says Enable this measure to preview it. you have picked a measure that needs setup. On a failure you get the reason and a Retry.
Add it, then save it for the workspace
Press Add to board. The dialog closes and the tile appears at the end of the grid — two columns wide and one row tall for a single number, the full width of the grid and three rows tall for anything else. You can move and resize it from there.
The tile is on your screen only. Press Save as default in the control row to make it part of the workspace’s board. If you are not the workspace owner you will get You don’t have permission to change the shared board. — the tile stays on your screen, and the owner has to publish it.
Change a tile you already have
Select the tile, then press Edit — the pencil — in its toolbar. Which dialog opens depends on the tile:
- A tile you built, and the ready-made Total leads and Leads over time tiles reopen the full builder, now headed Edit metric with Adjust this metric and save your changes. The footer button reads Save changes.
- Everything else — the funnel, the leaderboard, the assignment table and the campaign tiles — opens the smaller Edit tile dialog. A campaign number looks like a stat but behaves like the rest, so its pencil opens this one.
Edit tile renames and re-dates. It does not rebuild the metric.
Edit tile holds:
- Tile name — type over the default, or leave it blank. Leave blank to reset to the default name.
- A setting, if that kind has one. A campaign number has KPI, with Sent, Delivered %, Open rate %, Replied % and Scheduled. Campaign performance has Group by, with Campaign, Template and Channel.
- Time range — this tile’s own date window.
Press Save, or Cancel to back out. Then Save as default as usual.
The funnel’s stage picker and the leaderboard’s won-status picker are not in this dialog — they live in the tile’s own header. See Build a conversion funnel.
If something goes wrong
| What you see | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| The tile you want is not under Ready tiles | Your workspace cannot run it — no dropdown-style field for the funnel or leaderboard, no connected WhatsApp number for the campaign tiles | Set the missing piece up first; the row appears on its own |
| Metrics unavailable — Couldn’t load the metric catalog for this workspace. Check that analytics is enabled, then retry. | Raion Hub could not read the list of things your workspace can measure | Press Retry. Tiles already on the board keep working meanwhile |
| Loading catalog… and nothing else | The same list is still on its way | Wait, then reload the page |
| Add to board is greyed out | Either a measure marked · needs setup, or a Compare without two different numeric fields | Pick a different measure, or finish both X and vs Y |
| The new tile shows No data — This metric has no results for the current scope. | Nothing matches it inside the current period, source and member filters | Widen the board period, or clear the source filter |
| No records match this metric in the current scope. | Same thing, on a tile you built — usually a filter condition that is too tight | Loosen or remove a condition in Edit metric |
| The tile is gone after a reload | It was never saved — a new tile lives on your screen until the board is saved | Add it again and press Save as default, or ask the workspace owner to |
| You pressed Add to board twice and only got one tile | That is deliberate. One press adds one tile per time the dialog is open | Open Add metric again for a second tile |
